Story 9 Page 3 Framing

OK, I want to do something with these two, in part because they’re the ones that aren’t in another scene and in part because they have the whole teen angst thing going on. So the question is, what are they doing? I can easily see them trying to either track down the potentially pirate buyers of White Raptor’s stolen data (they have sketches of them thanks to Miss Anima from her uncles telepathic contact with White Raptor. They could also be tracking down Detona, who Olles left as a project for the Legion once Gorvo made his breakthrough on her potentially having powers rather than specialized explosive devices.

Or I could introduce some minor emergency for them to be assisting with.

Or they could just be training.

Any preferred scene framing?

DK: I vote for a training scene — Metal Lass and Bubble Boy working out more ways to use their powers in concert, like the impromptu directed metal + force field bounce they used against White Raptor. It’d mean that they have to interact directly with one another — no third party or outside problem to solve.

I also vote for a training scene. I always loved the Danger Room scenes in the X-Men, and it's a good setting for interpersonal byplay too.

BR: training with the jet packs?

MC: Yes! What could possibly go wrong with hormonal teenagers messing about with hypergolic fluid powered personal jet packs?
