Dread: The Murder of Thomas Fell

From DoctorCthulhupunk

My final game of DexCon was on 10 July at 10 am. Robert Dushay ran the Trail of Cthulhu adventure "The Murder of Thomas Fell" as a Dread adventure.

  • GM: Robert Dushay
  • Jim: wealthy dilettante: Jan Joyce <illeg>
  • Gaylord Tang: detective whose name I forget
  • Robin (Jim's son): friend, Pf. Knox
  • Me: Kenneth Fell, starving artist son

This was a fairly quick game, which was fine. We filled out Dread questionnaires, which got us all in the appropriate mood, and tried to solve the mystery of Thomas Fell's disappearance. At least one, possibly two, of the PCs died in a rock fall. Mechanically, this meant that their player had caused the Jenga tower to fall. Kenneth Fell and at least one other PC survived, I think. If so, no doubt Kenneth will create a painting featuring the Awful Truth about his experiences.

After the convention, we spent a few days at Stephen Tihor's home, and were delighted to be able to return home on either Wednesday or Thursday evening. We have awesome friends, and we don't want to strain their hospitality.
