Story Games Dump

Prepped a scenario for Kerberos Fate, which we barely began, as we focused on ethical medical issues from last time and on a ball at a young baroness's home. Matchmaking is in progress. Reginald decided he absolutely had to pair up the Odious Edwina Campion with someone to get her off the marriage market and put Schemes into effect. The player says she's like the Soulless Lord in Dance and the Dawn.

I was informed that Deathitude is a word. I remain skeptical.

The representative of a powerful evil fae tried to bribe the PCs to just stay out of his way. He told Sophronia that the fae in question could close the ways into faerie to her creator / father so that he couldn't abscond and would stay with her. Sophronia made a thunderstorm which was praised as part of the decorations, especially after she stopped and all the water vanished, doing no damage to hair or clothing. Sophronia has forbidden her fiance from trying to convince her creator / father to stay, standing firmly by Take Me As I Am for everyone, no matter how unhappy it may make her.

Reginald exchanged notes with the NPC Talos, a 20 foot tall iron golem who is Sophronia's cousin. Talos wants to help the Chartists. Reginald wants to make sure Talos understands that the Great Game of the World is not chess, but poker.

There is a Beast on the loose in the streets of Whitechaple, but this Creature appears to be Infused with the True Spirit of Christian Charity. Several Assaults and other Vile Crimes we Interrupted last night by what witnesses claim was a Giant Dog, possibly some Breed of Shepherd or Wolf-hound. While no Master was seen with the Creature, Witnesses say it was clearly Tame, as it's Demeanor quickly changed from Savage to Amiable, once it had Assured itself that all Villains had been Routed or Disabled, and accepted Thanks from the Victims before Vanishing into the fog.

The next morning, as the PCs are assembling to depart for points north, a porter arrives with Reginald's luggage. "Your pardon, mum, but Lord Sage asked that his things be stowed, and said that you could expect him to join you shortly."

A few moments later, a tremendous border collie appears and trots somewhat unsteadily to the carriage. As he approaches you notice that he smells like a cheap brothel. "And now, I am going to take a nap. Please wake me when we get close to the Earl's. I will probably need a bowl of water, if you would be so kind."

Reginald hops up into the carriage, curls up under one of the benches, and immediately falls asleep.
