Ok, Picture this. Fredrick's a chubby kid, maybe 9. He's dressed neat, though -- not a slovenly kid, just chubby. He takes good care of his appearance, dressing "nice."

His voice is nice, too -- maybe a bit too nice; people tend to not really remember exactly what he said, unless he concentrates; they're too busy remembering the beauty in his voice. And what's with his reading habits? It seems like he's -always- reading; is he just shy, or what?

How do others see you?

They like me well enough when they're -with- me.  But once they've gotten out of
my...aura of influence, I guess, they tend to not come back.  Maybe it's because
they're scared I'll do something with my voice to them -- as if.  Maybe they don't
like fat kids.  Maybe they're creeped out by the way I never looked at them any
time they were there -- who knows?

How do you see yourself?

I'm nice!  And I'm not really weird; I dress nice, and I'm polite.  I just
want to be liked!

What is creepy about you?

My voice really -is- weird.  It's more of a musical lilt than a human voice,
like bells, or maybe a chorus of angels singing, and it tends to catch people
in it like honey.  I don't sing often, but my singing voice is even worse.  My 
affect is also kinda weird; that's why my clothes are usually nicer than they  
really should be for the situation -- but also kinda off.  That's also (probably)  
why I usually keep my nose in a book -- plus it avoids having to talk too much.

What do you do to try to fit in?

Well, I dress up nice.  And I try not to talk too much, reading lots instead.  And 
sometimes I try to make my voice all gravelly and ugly, but that just sounds 
weirder.  

What are you most afraid of?

That I really am ugly, inside and out -- an ugly, evil fat kid with neat 
habits and a pretty voice smeared over it like gold paint on crap.
