&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;This larp had a really simple system, and one of the player had brought masks for anyone who didn&amp;#039;t have any. There was a nominal plot. Heck, on paper, Last Night in Carcosa is a typical political larp with a system for figuring out who wins at the end. But, as anyone familiar with the source material knows, this winning thing is irrelevant. It&amp;#039;s whatever one calls Illusionism -- the illusion that what the players and pcs do matter -- when all of the players know exactly how the game is rigged, and they&amp;#039;re all fine with that? We were there to be doomed, plain and simple.&lt;br /&gt;

The character sheets were excellent, 1 sheet per character, summing up the character’s goals and listing every character with a one sentence description. I had a nice mask on a stick, which I&amp;#039;d picked up at DexCon. I quickly learned that this was a Good Thing, as the people with the gorgeous masks on their faces were very hot. I played the astrologer, Rigel. The man playing the other active member of my conspiracy was very good. He wrote from memory Cassilda&amp;#039;s song from the Chambers King in Yellow and created poetry on the spot.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
