The system involves rolling a number of d6s. Even results are successes. A 6 (or a Faery, if you use the Official Faery Tale dice) is a success and you get to roll the die again. The characters went to a fair and helped out the lovely princess who was in a tight spot.

Willow: I think she needs a reviving pie.

Katrina: I don't think a pie's going to do it.

We not only got to keep a bag of pretty green stones which we'd used as essence tokens; Keith also offered us each a copy of the scenario, with all of the pcs statted up. That's a wonderful idea.
